The largest series of records are drafting room sketch copy books (1886-1959) containing scale drawings for machinery, parts and installations. There is also a series of loose files (1922-1962) containing job orders, sketches, and reports on individual installations. These include: diagrams of Hamilton engines made for the Amalgamated Leather Companies and the Pennsylvania Sugar Company; boiler inspection slips and letters and reports of the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection ? diagrams of Wetherill and Erie Ball engines made for the Pennsylvania Sugar Company; and diagrams and job orders for tugboat engines.
